How It All Started
Dr. Matt Everett is a Board Certified Emergency Physician who discovered Functional Medicine while working through a difficult health issue with his wife, Renee. During her ordeal, he learned theoretical and practical applications of functional medicine and what it's like to be a patient in a system that doesn't seem to listen or understand.

I came to Dr. Everett to get help with treatment for my hypothyroidism. He took me off Synthroid and put me on a much better medication that is natural, effective and less expensive. My regular endocrinologist would only look at blood work and would not listen to me when I wanted to discuss troublesome symptoms. I’ve been visiting IHeal for 14 months- After almost a decade battling the broken American Healthcare institutions while getting destroyed by Crohns and debilitating inflammation I found IHEAL- Went all the way to Mayo Clinic looking for help (didn’t matter same medical playbook) ALL patients with same disease only permitted to treat with same remedies, one playbook , one type of Med , same tests.
